+19.11% in Q2 | System at new all-time high
After a difficult start to the year, the tide has turned: in the second quarter, the S2F Crypto Portfolio achieved a return of +19.11%. July has also started strongly, with more than 10% profit at the time of writing. This has more than made up for the losses earlier this year and the system is now at a new all-time high.
In our previous update, we predicted a possible upturn towards the end of the year. That movement has now convincingly begun.
Bitcoin breaks through, altcoins still lagging behind
Bitcoin is now trading at $116,000, making it the best performing component of our portfolio. The price is expected to rise to between $150,000 and $180,000 this year, fully in line with the historical pattern of the 4-year cycle. This cycle previously caused peaks in 2013, 2017, and 2021, and 2025 also looks set to be another peak year.
Altcoins are still lagging behind somewhat. However, we expect our altcoin trackers to catch up in the short term as market sentiment continues to improve. Historically, altcoins often follow in the later stages of a bull market. Patience therefore remains important here.
Re-evaluation within crypto stocks
We see differences within the equity block of the portfolio. Bitcoin miners are lagging behind somewhat, while companies such as MicroStrategy are performing excellently. That is why this month we will be swapping some of the weaker performing miners for more robust and profitable crypto-related companies.
Outlook: bull run not over yet
The signs indicate that the bull run is still in full swing. We expect Bitcoin to reach new all-time highs this year and that the upward trend could continue into the first half of 2026. Only then should we prepare for the end of the 4-year cycle and a possible turning point towards a bear market.
For now, however, it remains an excellent phase to take advantage of the strong momentum in the crypto market.
