August has come to an end and the ESST system has once again delivered a solid performance. With a gain of +2.46% in August, the ESST system outperformed the S&P 500 index, which closed the month with a gain of 2.3%.
This means that the ESST system has achieved a total profit of 17.71% so far in 2024. An impressive performance, especially given the volatility of the market this month. The S&P 500 index, for example, got off to a bad start, with a short-term loss of no less than -8% in the first three trading days. However, the ESST system managed to hold its own, limiting the damage.
Some of the best performers in our portfolio last month were MercadoLibre and Palo Alto Networks, both with gains of around 3%. This underscores the power of the ESST algorithm to identify winning stocks, even in volatile market conditions.
