Monthly overview November ES Small Cap

Dear Investor,

Last month, I concluded the monthly overview with:

Statistically speaking, November and December are very good months for investing. However, next week is the US election, and investors are once again concerned about the Fed and policy interest rates. Both of these factors are causing unrest, and in such periods, people tend to play it safe. Whether November and December will be the same this year remains to be seen.

We now know that Trump has won and that interest rates have been cut by a quarter of a point. Both outcomes were positive for stocks and indices. The SP500 closed the month with a gain of 5.73%.

ESSC realized a profit of 12.11% in November. Since January 1 of this year, the profit stands at 37.64%.

HIMS shares were the best performers in the portfolio. LEU shares performed the worst in November.

In retrospect, November turned out to be another good month on the stock market. Hopefully, December will also be a good month this year, both on the stock market and for everyone in their private lives.

Happy holidays and have a great weekend.

Sincerely,

Henry van Ginkel
