Options Investing: 26 months a plus

Dear Investor,

This expiration month, Options Investing made a NET PROFIT of: + € 165. That's a monthly return of: + 1.65% (assuming a required capital of € 10,000)

or

A monthly return of: + 2.63 % (if you assume the dáactual required capital of € 6,300 required at Easeybroker in connection with the margin requirement of the short strangle on the AEX index).

As you know, for security's sake (!) I keep calculating with a required capital of € 10.000 ánd I keep this amount as a basis for the calculation of the return, despite the fact that the return then (of course!) looks a bit lower.

Transactions Options Investing

I made the following transactions:

25/07/2022 opening sale 1 call AEX

August 2022 exercise price 760 premium 0.60 (+ 60)

26/07/2022 opening sale 1 put AEX

August 2022 exercise price 630 premium 1.05 (+ 105)

reception: + €165

Once again, by making only 2 transactions, my goal (= a return of > 1% per month!) was realized!)

Starting next week, I will start taking positions for the SEPTEMBER 2022 option expiration and once again try to make a nice return!
