This Friday marks the March 2024 option expiration. So far, our strategy within OptiesBeleggen KT has generated a net premium income of €125, which represents a potential monthly return of 1.67% based on the standard required capital of €7,500.
Interestingly, when using the actual required capital of €6,300 (based on the margin requirement for the short strangle on the AEX index when using our platform), the monthly return actually increases to 1.98%.
However, we conservatively assume a required capital of €7,500 and calculate the return based on this value, even though this makes the return appear lower.
The final results for this month will be announced on Friday afternoon, bringing us one step closer to our goal: generating consistent returns for our investors.
Historical Performance We are proud to announce that this is the 48th month in which we are investing with a capital of €7,500. Our strategy has an impressive track record of 119 months, with 102 months ending in profit and only 17 months ending in loss.
Since the last adjustment to our investment strategy in March 2020, we have recorded consistent monthly gains, with the exception of just a few months. These results underscore the effectiveness of our approach, even in volatile and challenging market conditions.
To date, we have achieved a total profit of €4,766 over 48 months, which equates to an average of €99.29 per month and a monthly return of 1.32%.
Our Pride and Future Goals
We are extremely proud of the fact that we have not ended a single month with a loss from April 2020 to September 2022. Although every positive track record comes to an end, as ours did in September 2022, we have the ambition to build a new strong return record.
After closing the past 16 months with a profit, despite a loss-making February 2024, we are determined to build another impressive track record, starting with a nice profit in March 2024.
