Every month, I am happy to share the results of my option strategy, The American Dream, with you. With this strategy, I invest in short-term options on the S&P 500, with the goal of achieving a minimum monthly return of 1% on my $5,000 portfolio.
I executed two transactions before this month's expiration. This resulted in a net profit of $102. Converted to the required capital of $5,000 , this represents a monthly return of +2.04%.
This month's overview
So this month, I managed to achieve my goal again.
The American Dream has been running for 26 months now. During this period, I have achieved a total net result of $1,987 with a starting capital of $5,000.

Since the strategy change in August 2023, I have now recorded 20 consecutive profitable months. That gives me confidence and confirms that the adjustments are paying off.
