I have carried out the following two transactions:

1. January 27, 2025 – Opening sale of 1 SPY call, February 2025 series, strike price 630, premium: $0.43
   • Net proceeds: +$41 ($43 - $2 transaction costs at MEXEM)
2. January 30, 2025 – Opening sale of 1 put SPY, February 2025 series, strike 562, premium: $0.73
   • Net proceeds: +$71 ($73 - $2 transaction fees at MEXEM)

Net profit for February 2025:

$41 + $71 = +$112

Return based on required capital

With a minimum capital requirement of $5,000, the monthly return is:$112 / $5,000 = +2.24%.

Track record

This is the 24th month that I have been investing with a capital of $5,000.

Total realized profit over this period: +$1,559.

Average net profit per month:

$64.96, or +1.30% per month.

Net annual return:

+$1,559 / 24 months * 12 months / $5,000 = +15.59%
