RVM Strategy works with an algorithm on an index. Usually, the AEX index is used, but other indices are also possible.
How does the system work?
A specific algorithm, devised by Ruud van Megen, calculates an upward and downward price target for the index that will be traded at that moment.
Depending on market conditions, positions are subsequently taken, usually by means of index options.
Positions can be held for a short or long time, depending on maturities of the underlying options and whether a target price has been reached.
The choice to work with a specific algorithm was made on the basis of long-term experience and research.
