The WS-907 trading system went live on October 1, 2016. This system aims to "catch" small pieces of trend - up or down - and respond to them with futures on the AEX Index. In doing so, the expected number of trades per month varies between 0 and 4.
This system mainly benefits from nice even movements (read trends) that preferably continue for some time. Occasionally this results in fantastic monthly results (with double digits). But sometimes there is a month when there are no useful trends. Then we do not take positions either.
The system is a self-learning system. Under the hood, the system looks very different now than it did in 2016. Those adjustments are the result of years of research and much testing over historical data. This process is never finished, in part because markets are dynamic.
Our focus will always be on reducing interim losses (drawdown) without having too great an impact on potential returns. Guarantees do not exist in investing but...we do commit ourselves to the effort to make interim losses even smaller and profits bigger.
Whether good is also good enough is up to you to decide. But with an average return of over 25% over the past 6 years - based on verified and proven trades - the WS-907 system performs as expected. Googling "What is the best investment fund in the Netherlands" shows that WS-907, which by the way is not a "fund," has given by far the highest returns in the Netherlands over the past 6 years. We are quite proud of that.
