Investing is my passion. That passion started with the founding of the Robeco Young Dynamic Fund in 1998.
That was a special time, when technology investment funds in particular rose about 3% a day. To unprecedented heights. What Greenspan had already referred to as "irrational exuberance" in December 1996 therefore continued until September 2000. Also called the dot.com bubble.
And as always, this bubble burst. From 5 September 2000, the great slide began, so that by mid-2003, less than half of the now considerably increased capital (50,000 guilders!) remained. This was an important turning point. Why had nobody warned me? Was there nobody who knew?
This was, and still is, the reason for the search for truth, models and methods. Scientific help and knowledge was also sought. And found it! During this search for truth, I learned to distinguish useful information from the many bullshit stories of so-called gurus.
From my passion, and the search for truth, models and methods, the foundation of Wallstreet-Spirit BV was a logical result. We develop professional investment systems, test them for usability and also trade them with our own money.
