Last week the AEX opened at 702.52 on Monday 2 May. The highest point was reached on Thursday 5 May at 714.70 and the lowest point was reached on Monday 2 May at 681.10, which is a spread of more than 30 points!
At the time of writing, the AEX is LOWER than it was last Monday and is trading at 691.50
This week's update covers the 3rd week of the total 5-week option month of MAY 2022
The option expiry is always on the 3rd Friday of the month and that is Friday 20 May.
I have now sold both the call option and the put option on the AEX index, so a Short Strangle position has been taken. The premium receipt is: € 200 so my target is to make a return of +/+ 2.00 % for the month of May 2022
As you can see, I have closed every month of the past 25 months with a profit and not a single month has a loss. If I also manage to close the May option-expiration with a profit again, March would be the 26th profitable month in a row!
To follow this system, a capital of €10,000 is required, which I therefore calculate generously, also to be able to absorb any losses!
